The emergence of intelligent digital products and services opens up new possibilities for the innovation of business models. Smart product-service systems integrate digitalised components to offer a seamless customer experience that dynamically adapts to changing customer requirements. Currently, there are no comprehensive methods for developing such holistic digital systems that take into account the dynamics and structure of the associated business models. In our paper, we will examine some key considerations for the development of business models in smart product-service systems.
